The International Coffee Council (89th Session) and the Executive Board met during the week of 15 to 19 September 2003 in Cartagena, Colombia, at the invitation of the Colombian Government to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the Organization. It was the first time a session of the Council had been held outside the headquarters of the Organization in London.
